Battery life on watchOS 10 & Series 8… 🫠#notgood

@HabibCham My Ultra is also feeling the update, but I have to say that, after a few months, battery life is not what it used to be.

@maique Luckily for me I was still going 1.5-2 days before needing to charge. With the beta I have to top up once a day now. The great thing with the Ultra is that it charges so fast, so it hasn’t been a burden for me so far.

@HabibCham Yeah, it's still not a big deal, just a matter of keeping an eye on things, and I was used to not doing that. Still good.

@maique I found on most betas, the battery goes first and then sorts itself out

@Munish On the watch too? I’ve kinda felt like this with the phone, lots of background stuff going on for a while. Great if the watch acts the same way.

@maique I tried once with the watch and reverted back to the stock build. Previously on the iPhone and iPad, I had too many problems so now try to stay away from initial betas. I had to totally reset the iPad, as it would not come off the apple logo. Lol. I suppose that is the price you also pay, for lots of TestFlight apps lol.

@Munish I have never experienced that sort of catastrophic failure. Battery life, some bugs, maybe some apps won't even start. But that's it. This one is actually pretty stable, at least for now.

@maique that’s good to hear. I won’t risk it …yet lol. Also, I have learnt if I have the new betas. Come September I am bored and want a newer version 🤦🏽‍♂️
