After spending significant time in the digital woods of podcast apps, Overcast has issued an update that seems to fix the big issues I was having! More testing is required, but I’m very excited to see this!

@Gentry good to know. I’d switched over to Apple Podcasts, but now it is being unreliable. I was thinking of going back to Overcast

@mroutley things certainly seem a lot better thankfully. I’m still having an issue on
watch playback where the audio timestamp doesn’t advance and so when there is an audio interruption (like workout notifications) my audio skips back to time stamp which is pretty annoying.

@Gentry @mroutley I’ve been using Overcast since it was first released. Even with recent problems, I prefer it to all other podcast apps.

@josephaleo I agree, the bugs that were present for me on Overcast happened to be features I use a lot(namely the watch app) and that worked(s) better on the official app. Overcast is better in basically every other way including audio quality especially

@josephaleo @gentry I used Overcast for years. Seems like time to switch back (again)
