@Gabz Oh wow, did not see that coming, that's too bad. I've played with Olympus cameras but they never quite clicked for me. I currently shoot Fuji, and in the past have used Canon and also Sony.

@philly Right! at least i knoiw for sure my next camera (if i ever do get another camera) won't be an oly. In fact, I think I had looked into Fuji before, I want to say it was the X100F, maybe

@maique I’m pretty sure that would be my next toy, I really want a Leica Q, but they are very very spendy 😅

@maique I think, besides the price, another reason i would go with the Fuji as a replacement to my EM 10, I rather shoot at 35mm, which in micro 4/3 that would be 17mm if I am not mistaken. mybe I am mistaken, On my m4/3 I usually shooting with a 17mm or a 25mm

@Gabz your conversion is correct (Although don’t get into the “urgh well actually it’s still 17mm” madness). I’ve been using my Oly more recently and really wondered about getting a newer one, I guess the m4/3 standard will continue as it’s open and the new owners may continue marking new products. Then again, Fuji really are great (and my x100t is my desert island camera).

@ChrisJWilson Okay good to know I am not far off. I need to look into the Fuji more. Then again, I am still happy with my Oly so, we will see

@Gabz I’ve been eyeing the x100v a lot. But also wondered about getting a x-pro 2 as they’ve been discounted to clear. It’s got a lot of the advantages of the 100 with changeable lenses (though not the latest sensor etc). But apart from lacking weather sealing and 4K video, my camera basically does everything I need... but new camera.

@Gabz I have the X100S and just love it. I got the X-T30 a year ago to be able to play with more lenses again, and while I quite like it, nothing feels as good as using the x100. I’m sometimes tempted to upgrade my S to the V.

@alans Good to know. I think a Fuji will be my next camera. When? I don't know but most likely it will.

@Gabz Sad about Olympus, but I do love Fuji cameras. I'll still hang on to my old OM-1n and OM-2n Olys though :).

@Gabz p.s. definitely look at some of the other fuji options. The x100's are great if you want a fixed lens and the hyrbid viewfinder. Perfect for street photography, but I know that the x-t30 line is really good value for money ( I have a friend with the X-t10 and he loves it) the x-e line get good reviews for electronic viewfinders. What separates Fuji to me are the colour simulations and the tactile controls and interface.
