@sku\_b It's hard, but once you do it it feels pretty liberating. I closed mine over a year ago, however, I am half liberated, since i still have my instagram.
@sku\_b I left two years ago and I don't regret it. The first six months were hard, as you may feel excluded from casual conversations happening there. And you do lose touch with some people. For me, it's been worth it, but I don't mind a smaller social circle. I just wish more of my IRL friends were bloggers, so I could see their stuff without the toxicity.
@sku\_b I left just over a year ago - I found it too much of a distracting effort to keep up with people, and I was starting not to like FB's practices - and don't regret. Initially it felt odd not knowing what friends and family were doing right now, but in time it didn't matter and now I have forgotten about it. Anyway, that is how things have been for most of my life, so in some ways it has been a relearning.
