@Alcedine oh! I totally get it, that’s how it always goes. The wife and I did the same thing this morning and all I feel like doing is get a flamethrower 😅

@Alcedine And all the weeds will be back in a week unless as @gabz says, you burn it to the ground.
@Alcedine Coincidentally, I plan to spend a few hours spraying Roundup today. I'd rather pull them by hand than spray, but with 5 acres, that just isn't possible.
@dejus I wish drones/robots could do something with this, as roundup isn’t very good for the nutritional value* or body, according to some research.

@Alcedine I hear ya coz after two weekends of backbreaking work in clearing out weeds and other random plants, laying down the week blanket, and adding mulch on top, I see two weeds spring up happily this morning 😤
@odd Yeah, it is kinda nasty stuff. I always make sure to avoid exposed skin, though still worry about possible cancer risk. But it's either that or let the weeds take over.
@dejus Yes, we do want food. Especially vegetables. At the moment I guess there aren’t so much to do about it. I hope in the future we have other options.
@odd To be clear, I don't spray in the veggie garden. That is strictly weeded by hand. I only spray paths and weeds in non-food gardens.
@dejus Oh! I’m sorry, I misunderstood completely! I think roundup (or it’s siblings) are used in the food production industry in my country. Then it is of course of a much lesser concern.
@Alcedine I despair at the work I did a couple of weeks ago as a new carpet of weeds emerges from the ground. I try and avert my eyes, but I know that am going to be back on my hands and knees soon enough for the next round of pulling! 😫
