There’ve been some fun posts showing Volkswagon Beetle’s today. Here’s me with mine. I drove it in 1984 I think. That was such a fun, simple car.

@jack Never mind the Beetle, where were you using that surfboard?

@frankm That was an old HiFly Windsurfer. We'd go to the state park on Lake Michigan and fall down and swear a lot, mostly :).

@jack Ah, so you grew up on the west coast of the Mitten. I grew up in the U.P. where surfboards of any type, at least then, were not common. The terain in the picture didn't look like California, so I was wondering.
