Today we stopped at Ragged Point to check out an elephant seal birthing site. Incredible 😮🌊🌥

@Miraz Yep and they were loud too! It was an adorable combination of noises that sounded like puppies yelping, older dogs barking, pigeons cooing and general flatulent episodes (from trumpeting males).

@johnjohnston I was surprised at how many there were. It was at Attenborough level.

@martinfeld that was my first though, this was something you normally see on the telly. Not something that a real person sees!

@Gabz Watching the seals jiggle as they moved across the beach was mesmerising and amusing.

@martinfeld I bet it was a much better experience than watching them in an aquarium or some confined space.

@Gabz The setting certainly made it spectacular!
