@pratik mostly because the iOS version is so nice, the macOS version UI drives me nuts. Coat of paint on the same functionality that has been there since 2006. Really only focused on corporate exchange, whereas the iOS version fits business and personal needs.
@Gabz using beta 4.0 on macOS and beta 3.0 on iOS and both are proving to be very good for me. The current release versions were a train wreck for me in the past. I’m sure time will tell! 🤞
@bjtitus yes, 4.0 on the Mac and 3.0 on iOS. I haven’t actually used that one in a while. I’ll give it a go again. Thanks!
@Burk maybe because outlook for iOS emerged from their acquisition of acompli ... but iOS for Mac they developed themselves?
As they bought acompli was around the time I could stop dealing with exchange it got deleted from my world - maybe I should try it again - although Spark is my personal fave when averaged across both platforms.
@pyrmont much smoother UI and sync is working consistently now. Overall feels like a solid app now. It’s only been a couple days, but all interactions have been quite pleasant. Happy to see progress with the app 😀
@JohnPhilpin I always found myself with sync issues using spark across iPhone, iPad and MacBook.
@JohnPhilpin ahhh good point. Hadn’t thought of that. If outlook for macOS could ever get feature parity with iOS they would have one heck of a nice setup!
@Burk used to - not finding now - there is 1 issue on short swipes that I discoverd and they have agreed it is a repeatable bug - but it Otherwise - solid
@JohnPhilpin and of course @burk intuitively understood that by ‘iOS for Mac’ I meant ‘outlook for Mac’ ...

@Burk That's great to hear! Looking forward to another strong native client on iOS and Mac :)
@Burk I wholeheartedly agree on the Outlook ratings. We use Office365 at work and I stay as far away from Outlook as I can on the Mac (I use Apple Mail and the artist formerly known as iCal instead) whereas once I tried Outlook on iOS, I got hooked on it. Both on the iPhone and the iPad.
