It is 8 years later and I still can’t believe they made Skyrim.

@Gabz Totally worth taking it for a spin, especially since the remastered version is on sale for PS4 and also available on the Switch.

@simonwoods I kinda want to play it on the switch, I want every game for the Switch lol

@Gabz Yeah I get that. We don't have the Switch yet but even when we do I'm going to be particularly selective about which games to get for each console; certain games will be better on certain consoles and I want the best possible. In that way it's just not the same as with apps and media; not interchangable in some cases.

@simonwoods to me is more about convenience. I can play the switch while the wife or the kiddos are watching tv. It’s easier to put the switch to sleep if you need to put the game down for a bit to do something else and comeback where you left off. Little things like that. Consoles requiere more time for some reason. Just to get the game started sometimes. I have been actively re-buying some games for the switch. Then again I don’t think I would ever play a triple A game, let’s say Horizon Zero Dawn on the switch , or maybe I would I don’t know lol

@Gabz Yup makes sense. The Switch appears to be to PS4 and Xbox as the iPad is to the MacBook; deceptively powerful but it's not about that -- Nintendo are at their best when they prioritise experience irrespesctive of cost, just like Apple -- whilst Sony and Xbox are competing with PC gaming for some strange reason.
