Is it possible to get by with the free tier of ProtonMail? I have mix(ed) feelings about it. 🤔

@simonwoods to me is more to stay always from google, I mean I have a me.com thru Apple which I probably trust better but at the same time I don’t want to overflow that inbox with too much crap. Mostly everything that goes in there it’s something I care about

@Gabz Yep, I get that. TBH the fact that Protonmail isn't based in the USA is one of the big reasons I chose it.

@Gabz If you pay for ProtonMail you can set up email on your custom domain. Something like gab@gabz.com would work. Assuming you owned Gabz.com.

On macOS they have a bridge that allows the encrypted email to integrate with Apple’s email client. But on iOS it is a separate app that (for me) is functional but unattractive and missing convenience features. Still I’m happy with it. And like you I save my Apple email address for the family, bank etc.
