What’s the best way to post to @Blot on iOS/iPadOS?

@chet I have mine set up through git - not Dropbox - so I write in iA Writer and then publish using Working Copy, coordinated through Files integration.

@canion my initial thought is to use Dropbox + Ulysses. Compose in Ulysses, then share the sheet to Dropbox.

My ideal setup would be like Micro.blog: open + publish, all in one place.

@chet I think your system would work. David at @blot is extremely helpful and I’m sure he would be open to considering more streamlined posting. Posting friction is a reason I don’t use my site more often.

@chet I use Drafts, I have an action to save the file to DropBox. if I want to add images I also have actions and shorcuts for that and save to dropbox.

@chet I haven't tried it out, yet, but @amit put together a Micropub endpoint for blot, that integrated w/the Dropbox API. The micro.blog app is a micropub client, so with a micropub endpoint set up, you would be able to post directly to your @Blot site using the micro.blog app.

Native micropub integration into @Blot would be gnarly, though!

@eli I had that on my roadmap for Sitewriter but I guess you beat me to it! 😀

@chet as @eli mentioned, I use the micropub endpoint to post directly via m.b app. I also had some shortcuts created which for posting social posts (likes, replies) again via the same micropub client.

@gerwitz I had to get that in place before I could finalize on using it as my primary blogging platform 🙂 @eli
