I have never paid more than 5 bucks for gas in the US … let alone 6 … and never broken the $100 to ‘fill’ my tank and this tank that was nowhere near empty.
@wilsongis catching up ... at the time I was driving down the 1 hugging the cliffs around Big Sur etc .... I cant recall exactly where this was but essentially as you pass through Big Sur - heading south there is a rest station with gas etc … it is apparently a well documented rip off spot - though even these guys didn’t call them out.
