I new habit I have started to pick up is, as soon as I get home from work, I change to gym clothes. Even though I won’t be going to the gym until everyone goes to bed later at night. But in this way I feel like I’m committing myself to it.

@Gabz Someone I used to read (forgotten who) described that also as 'reducing friction’. It makes it easier to go to the gym later because you’ve already started. That's one less obstacle to doing the thing. I use that technique a lot - eg getting out ingredients for cooking dinner during the course of the day.
@Miraz i remember reading/reading something similar from Shawn Blanc back when I first was looking into the focus course. He sent an email and do an exercise. It was to the night before pick the outfit for the next day.
