I’m pleased with my updated footer.
@Gabz I wanted to spread the M.b word, but I didn't like the way that the theme did it. I think it's a nice balance
@chet Question, for the Micro.blog link to look and behave as a link. is there anything special that needs to be done?
@Gabz If you need any of my "source” code, just let me know. I love sharing (and using!) snippets.
@jmreekes no problem. Keep posting the flight line photos. I love seeing all of the small airports.
@chet I will. One of the things I love about the company I work for is I’m always going to places and airports I’ve never been to before. The Citation Latitude I’m flying needs 4,000ft minimum of runway, and the Phenom 300 I flew previously only needed 3,500ft
@chet I took the Phenom 300 into Mackinac Island, Michigan once and Santa Monica, California a bunch of times, even after they shortened the runway.
@chet The only time I’ve been was when I flew people there a few years ago. I did spend the night but did not have time to explore. One year, I want to take a couple of weeks and tour all the small towns of costal Michigan.
@chet actually I have a question. When I set up the custom footer I may have done a little differently than you because for some reason I couldn’t get it to center it. So now when my site turns dark mode, the footer doesn’t. Did you run into the same issue? And if so, how’d fix it ?
@Gabz Here's the code that I have in my footer. I don't see any custom CSS in my blog for dark mode. Try putting that custom footer code in and see if that takes care of you.
@chet I see, wonder what it is, I will try to mimic yours and make the appropriate changes and see
