One game I would love to play on the Switch, it’s NIER Automata. Beautiful and amazing game.

Apropos of nothing,

I have redone my homescreen again. To something more… realistic? Given my use case?

@Gabz Hello there! :) Looks good! Ultimately, as long as it's useful to you, that's what matters. I've gotten in the habit of not having ANY icons on my homescreen and keeping all of the apps on my phone in two folders on my dock. I use Spotlight and Siri to find everything, and it feels so much more efficient, honestly.

@sarcassem hi! I have tried that type of setup before, can’t stick to it for whatever reason. I do use spotlight search a lot but like to have my most used apps easily accessible I guess. But I do change things around a lot, maybe tomorrow (due to this conversation 😅) i might decide to try it again.

@Gabz if you had used Ulysses, how do you find it compared to IAwriter?

@Burk hm! First off, no subscription 😅. But what I think I like the best is the way it handles markdown and links, I like seeing the links and such, that’s one thing. Also the fact that everything is a .txt file and I can open those files with any other app that supports it. I can export in markdown to Dropbox. And I like the fonts better too 😊. I personally don’t thinks it way better than Ulysses but it has a few things here and there that makes me use it more.

@Gabz right on! One thing about Ulysses that drives me insane is the way it ha does markdown links. 🤔

@Gabz I made the switch recently too for similar reasons. If you take away the subscription side of things, I would have had enough inertia to not want iA writers advantages, but an upcoming renewal gave me that push to move. Still miss some aspects of Ulysses layout (the way it organised files and that search) but overall happy.

@ChrisJWilson @Gabz Perhaps I need to give it a try again. I have the same issue with Ulysses and links.

@Gabz haha fair enough! Everyone has their own setup and ways that click for them. I like seeing the iterations you put out. 😀
