@andynicolaides this is exactly what I’ve been doing, using Drafts.

@andynicolaides interesting, to me Drafts is an app that to me is essential, I use it for so many different things. I’m not Tim Nahumck but I use it quite a bit 😅

@Gabz Same here. Texts, emails, OmniFocus tasks, calendar events, etc all start in Drafts. @andynicolaides

@andynicolaides I understand that. For texts, I have an action that pre-fills my wife’s number so I don’t have to worry about texting wrong person. For the very few emails I send, I use Drafts for writing the body of the email and use Mail to send it.

@andynicolaides Drafts has an email action but I never remember which line of the draft is for what, so I Drafts for just the body. For OmniFocus Tasks, and calendar events, I use Drafts when I have more than 1 or 2 items to add.

@andynicolaides Drafts and Fantastical make adding my wife’s work schedule and my kids school schedule (early release days and no-school days) very simple. Drafts is an app that didn’t “click” for me for a long time after multiple attempts at using it.

@andynicolaides @jmreekes i don’t thinks it’s a matter of trying harder to use the app, if it feels forced then is not the right thing for you. To me it works, I draft everything there because I want a clean canvas to put my words in before I take action upon those words. Specially for important emails and such. If I’m in Mail drafting something I am always afraid that I will accidentally send it when it’s not ready.
