@Gabz the scenery is just amazing, similar to BoTW! That was one of my favourite things to do in BoTW, explore and climb, and take a photo (screenshot) of the amazing landscapes!
@Gabz Your affection for (obsession with? 😉) this game is making me seriously consider playing it. I played and enjoyed AC2, but haven't really played any others in the series. I already have a backlog of other games I want/need to play, but you are really tempting me!
@chrispederick I only got a little over 91 hours into this game so far , and I’m still on episode one of the second expansion. And there’s still lots of stuff I haven’t done from the main game, side quests i mean.
@Gabz See, while that sounds amazing it also puts me off a little because I find it hard to make the time for incredibly long games. I still have Spiderman, BOTW, Last of Us, Red Dead in various states of play through so I really should try to finish those first. It's so easy to be tempted by the new shiny though.
@chrispederick I can totally relate to that. In my case this is the only game I am focused on. I am not playing any other games. I guess it could be that this game has totally grabbed me and can’t think of any other game I want to play but this one.
@Gabz Isn’t that the best when you find a game that you enjoy so much that it becomes the only game you want to play for an extended period? I think that may be part of why I’m tempted and not finishing up other games: I’m looking for my next game like that. Most recently for me it was probably God of War or the first Tomb Raider reboot that was like that.
@chrispederick Indeed! I remember getting very into God of War but never played much of the side quests. I guess it was timing, I was in the middle of training for a new job when that game was out.
