@fiona I would love to work from home and stay with my girls! I’d happily do the stay-home dad thing!

@fiona as a parent who works from home with a kid around a lot, I'd defo choose that over onsite childcare...but I don't have a specific reason for it

@fiona It greatly depends on the kid(s). One of my daughters is a joy at home; keeps herself busy with good stuff and rarely interrupts. The other watches TV all day, only breaking to walk in on my video meetings to say she’s bored. I’ve worked at home their whole lives, and happy I have.

@fiona Possibly the latter. It’s good for the children to socialise if I can’t be interacting with them.

@fiona I might choose the office because I'm very close to my team mates and our team works better if we're personally together. And I would expect that onsite childcare would mean someone is looking after my child every second, compared to being at home where I could be looking away from what they're doing for long periods of time.

@fiona So far I’ve been enjoying working at home with my kid at home. BUT my wife is home and doesn’t work, so there is someone that’s not me watching him…and he can’t walk yet, so he can’t barge in my office. So ask me again in 6 months 😉
