@matpacker so ridiculous! What’s worse is no accountability.

@matpacker What’s shocking to me is that so many people either don’t about these scandals or just don’t care.

@Gabz @matpacker My thoughts exactly. Who holds them accountable? It appears as though they can make do what they want with all this personal data, whenever they want and nothing happens. It seems to be the age that we live in!

@martinfeld I’ve demonstrated to my Wife, on multiple occasions, how all this works on Facebook and she basically doesn’t care...even though she’ll point out 2-3 examples of Facebook behaving creepily each week

@crossingthethreshold that’s a very good question, is it the responsibility of the US Government , or each individual Country that Facebook has offices in, or should the UN get involved?

@matpacker Yeah that’s a bit baffling and I hear that from people too. We have friends who have openly said that they don’t believe that privacy is an issue and others should know and expect what they’re signing up for... 🤦🏽‍♂️

@martinfeld I agree with those who say you should know what you’ve signed up for, the problem is, Facebook is changing the rules every other day. What’s private today isn’t necessarily private tomorrow. Imagine the Police changing the laws / rules every other day!

@matpacker Oh certainly over the past few years, people should have known what they were getting themselves into if they were signing up. In the early days when things were more basic, I think that this was less obvious.
