@Gabz I like your line of thinking here. To be honest, if I truly care about the things I am writing then I will go to the effort of attempting to maintain it. However, when there is nothing functional (specifcally with regard to money) tied to what I have written then I will mostly prefer to post it wherever and leave it to the whims of the web.
Overall I'm not comfortable with turning my habitual, hobbyist writing into a pile of work.
@simonwoods I can also see that, to save the things you’ve put effort into. This is the only part of this whole things that gives me some mental friction. Or maybe the real issue is what’s worth saving and what’s not?
@Gabz That question is so easily asked and yet I don't think we do enough to recognise that it is perfectly OK to say "I don't know." You can do this, get on with the writing, then make decisions regarding maintanence later on; at least, this is the approach that works best for me when I am thinking more clearly and following my core desire to simply write as much as possible.
