@simonwoods interesting perspective Simon. Moving from WordPress to Micro.blog I find the whole thing to be near frictionless! I often write in drafts on my phone and then just tap a button to publish without needing to open the app. Publishing takes a second compared with WordPress where I could use something like Ulysses and then I’d have to check if it was formatted properly, add images if I wanted and so on. I’m sure there is friction that could be removed though.

@simonwoods I enjoyed reading your perspective on this. From my pov I like a little posting friction as it makes me a little more thoughtful I hope. I do like/hate instagram I find there is too much friction in reading there, non-chronological and an increasing number of adverts.
