@maique I think it is worse after the refresh, but its audio engine is still the best out there.

@maique @canion at the time this app was released, I think the audio engine was what got me, as a second-class citizen-non-native-english-speaking-people, it was really easy to miss things, again, at the time. Overcast’s aduio engine made the voices and conversations much clearer, so it stuck. And it’s hard for me to use anything else, maybe Castro…

@Gaby I love Castro and have been using it for years. It’s got a unique episode management system, but it works well when you get used to it. Thankfully, they also have a “voice boost” feature that helps clear up voices and conversation.

@dandycat yeah, I usually jump back and forth between Overcast and Castro

@maique I’ve used it since it came out and I still like it. And this reminded me that I was there when @marco announced it in 2013.

@furstenberg I don’t like the chaotic colours or the way it has tried to implement a weird Castro-like queue. Don’t like that unplayed icon looks back at long-gone episodes.

@canion Right. You can of course change many of those aspects yourself. But the out of the box experience might not be as good as before.
