Apple needs to launch a TV+ app for Android. They have one for music. So I can’t understand why they won’t launch one for their TV offerings too. It’s such a pain to watch their shows and movies on a non-Apple mobile device. And I won’t buy an Apple device just for TV.

@Gaby Why do you think so? Isn’t a good strategy to earn as much as possible from services?

@amit @Gaby Might have been because Apple Music was an acquisition from Beats Music, which was an acquisition of MOG, which did have an Android app. I know because I actually used it for my music streaming. It was actually pretty good: the queue management features were much better than what Spotify et. al offer today.

@lmika Possibly, but the Music app is good. And it does help bring some revenue from the larger Android user base. I am sure they can base a simple app for streaming shows too. // @Gaby

@AndyNicolaides Yes, I can. But the web player is terrible. To be frank, the whole TV+ app experience on browser is bad. I don’t think Apple would want this to be the experience for any user of theirs.

@amit Apple TV’s app shows up on Google Play for me (though I don’t have an Android phone)

@verumsolum Yeah, it does. But it isn’t compatible with any mobile. Looks to be targeting Google TV.
