@Gaby I love reading posts about journaling and blogging. If youâve always done it digitally, I reckon give the paper format a try. For me thatâs the âbaseâ of my journaling, to the point where Iâm struggling to figure out where blogging really fits in my life.
Iâve blogged since â00, and I guess with the advent of Web 2.0 when things became commercial I do wonder a lot about a blogâs purpose these days.
@herself Well, thatâs the thing. I think when I started seriously âjournalingâ, using an app, it was, in reality, my desire to blog on the web, but I was too scared to put my thoughts out there. Clearly, that is no longer the case. And even when I was exclusively journaling for myself alone, I was always writing things I wouldnât mind other people reading. So for me blogging, is pretty much journaling, mostly for myself but other people can partake by reading. But that doesnât mean, that like everyone else, have some âdark stuffâ that itâs probably emotionally and mentally healthy to write them down somewhere but perhaps not necessarily belong to the public eye. Yet again, it has I always done it, or at least for the past five years. Putting my happy and the not-so-happy thoughts out there, I think.
Now you have really thinking again đ
@Gaby Thereâs something quite nice about writing without âlooking over your shoulder,â I reckon!
I still blog but it often feels awkward, hehe.
