🕹 Really enjoying Children of Morta. It’s a charming rogue-lite centered around a family of guardians. (Well, at least as charming as you can be when fighting off corrupting incursions?)

@toddgrotenhuis i love the art in this game
@mjdescy is that the first boss in the caves? If so, yes.
The skill to master is to avoid/evade/dodge (sorry, can’t remember which they call it) when it is coming down.
@mjdescy IIRC it has a rotation/pattern of actions, like it goes to the top and spawns webs, then it does a drop, then it spawns more spiders, or something like that. The pattern sticks so you can begin to anticipate the drops.
@frostedechoes I’m enjoying trying out the different family members and play styles, so it’s not getting stale for me. (Helps that you unlock more things as yo go, too.) Right now I’m getting all my unlocked characters to level 4 (to provide their family benefit) and then focus on the archer for a bit.
