@Cheri Good Luck !!!! ππΌππ½ππ
@Cheri I love how you handled this! I believe this is quite common, and usually non-dramatic, but good for you, (and P, and us) that you took charge of this. β€οΈ
I actually had a mammogram once, not a pappogram, thank God! And then I had a biopsy. It had to be done without anesthetics, so not very pleasant.
Like itβs the uterUS, it should be PotUS. π
@Cheri thank you for this excellent post, good for you for following up, and best of luck.
@Cheri Good luck, Cheri. As you already know, everything will be fine. We will be there holding hands virtually to support P holding them literally.
PS. Loved the uterUS joke π
@Cheri I hope everything goes well! That level of poor communication would freak me out too, but at least youβre on track to get the tests you need, which is the important thing π
@Cheri Oh, Iβm late seeing this today. Best wishes for tomorrow.
BTW I have to make my wifeβs OB/GYN appointments. If I donβt she procrastinates indefinitely! A small act of love and as you said I want her to hang around a long time!
@Cheri Wish you good luck for your tests tomorrow. I love your courage and perspective, thank you for writing and sharing this ππ½ I hope all goes well tomorrow.
@Cheri Just catching this. Wishing you well for tomorrow. Thank you for writing this and verbalizing what is certainly true for me in terms of not wanting to be an embarrassment or bother.
All strength to you, and sitting with you tomorrow.
@strandlines Iβm comprised of a wild mix of stoicism, existentialism, and stray Futurama quotes. π
@Cheri Fingers crossed for a happy outcome! π€π»
Very glad that you were able to direct your care in a helpful way despite the lapse in communication. Thatβs a story Iβm hearing over and over these days.
@Cheri People who think the US medical system is top notch should read things like this:
> With the help of my hypertext friends, The Mayo Clinic, Harvard, and Johns Hopkins, I was able to suss out whatβs up.
No reason you should have been left to do this on your own.
