@vincent I donโt know if my eyes are going bad, but I could have sworn that if i were forced to name which is red and which is pink of the โredโ and the โimac pinkโ, Iโd choose the opposite. Iโm not saying youโve mixed up, but maybe Apple did? Or, my eyes are going bad.
@vincent I think they might do that, but maybe only per country/language. Iโm not 100% sure about this, but I remember the YouVersion Bible app had an icon that said โBIBELENโ, on the icon, and it was an American app.
@vincent I donโt know if there is official support at the OS level on Android for alternate icons but Todoist and Pocket Casts have alternate icons on Android. Pocket Casts creates a second icon and Todoist just changed it. I also donโt know how theyโre doing it
@vincent None taken. ๐ Yes, during the Apple Event I actually said that Iโd liked the Red one, but they called it Pink. (Maybe they mixed up the pigments at the factory, but then it was too late?)

Omg ๐ณ thank you
@vincent this post reminded me to ask a question Iโve long wondered about - is the icon supposed to be evocative of something? While I like it and appreciate that it stands out, Iโve never been able to connect it to anything in particular.
@vincent If you wanted to do multi-colour icons then you could have each โlozengeโ be one of the rainbow colours, Appleโs six colours, or the IOC/UCIโs colours. The UCI world champs colours on white would look sweet.
