@ohBananaJoe does that include the Twilight series? I love it btw and Iām with you on vampiresā¦.but I also agree with @Gaby - I could never actually play any of them. Sometimes I watch other people doing it on youtube though - thatās scary enough : )
@ohBananaJoe donāt know that one. What about Let the Right One In? I loved Bram Stokerās Dracula from 1992 as well : )
@ohBananaJoe @hollyhoneychurch i enjoyed the twilight movies at the time but then the internet ruined them š
Interview with the vampire made having to read other Anne Riceās books. So this movie has a special place in my heart. But then I watched Blade and the Underworld movies š„° and let not forget Dracula Untold š
@hollyhoneychurch Let The Right One in is am all time fav. Read the book and saw both versions of the film. Swedish version was the better of the two IMO.
@ohBananaJoe @stevebrady @grady @hollyhoneychurch I am currently re-reading āāSalemās Lot,ā which is every bit as great and compelling as I remember it. And I understand why people write vampire fiction because I can see that from the vampiresā perspective theyāre not doing anything all that bad.
@ohBananaJoe Itās a fantastic book. Shows surprising depth of characterization, considering King was only about 25 when he wrote it.
@stevebrady I thought it would be. Thatās why I didnāt watch the remake. Very cool original for sure.
@MitchWagner ha! I agree! Poor vampies. I bet itās a bit scary to read. Iāve never read a horror story book, unless you count Jaws aged 13 š¤
@hollyhoneychurch āāSalemās Lotā is a good one, if you want to try it. I like King for the non-horror bits, the way he draws characters and settings.
@MitchWagner yes, Iād like to read a Stephen King book. I read the plot of Salemās lot - thereās a part in it that I know I wonāt like (to do with animals) so Iāve looked for other books that arenāt so horror orientated. I saw Joyland and I think I might go with that one. Iām an Audible fan so it may well be my next credit : )
