@ohBananaJoe Are you tempted to play another series in reverse? 😁

@ohBananaJoe does that include the Twilight series? I love it btw and I’m with you on vampires….but I also agree with @Gaby - I could never actually play any of them. Sometimes I watch other people doing it on youtube though - that’s scary enough : )

@ohBananaJoe don’t know that one. What about Let the Right One In? I loved Bram Stoker’s Dracula from 1992 as well : )

@ohBananaJoe @hollyhoneychurch i enjoyed the twilight movies at the time but then the internet ruined them šŸ˜…

Interview with the vampire made having to read other Anne Rice’s books. So this movie has a special place in my heart. But then I watched Blade and the Underworld movies 🄰 and let not forget Dracula Untold šŸ˜

@hollyhoneychurch Let The Right One in is am all time fav. Read the book and saw both versions of the film. Swedish version was the better of the two IMO.

@ohBananaJoe @stevebrady @grady @hollyhoneychurch I am currently re-reading ā€œā€˜Salem’s Lot,ā€ which is every bit as great and compelling as I remember it. And I understand why people write vampire fiction because I can see that from the vampires’ perspective they’re not doing anything all that bad.

@ohBananaJoe It’s a fantastic book. Shows surprising depth of characterization, considering King was only about 25 when he wrote it.

@stevebrady I thought it would be. That’s why I didn’t watch the remake. Very cool original for sure.

@MitchWagner ha! I agree! Poor vampies. I bet it’s a bit scary to read. I’ve never read a horror story book, unless you count Jaws aged 13 šŸ¤”

@hollyhoneychurch ā€œā€˜Salem’s Lotā€ is a good one, if you want to try it. I like King for the non-horror bits, the way he draws characters and settings.

@MitchWagner yes, I’d like to read a Stephen King book. I read the plot of Salem’s lot - there’s a part in it that I know I won’t like (to do with animals) so I’ve looked for other books that aren’t so horror orientated. I saw Joyland and I think I might go with that one. I’m an Audible fan so it may well be my next credit : )
