Using 1Writer as My Writing App: chrishannah.me
@ChrisHannah well, well, well, many of us are rethinking their text editor choices… https://numericcitizen.io/2021/03/5/thinking-again-about-text-editors
@canion I’ve had a glance at Drafts before, although not heavily used it, and it never felt right. That was a while ago, so it may be beneficial to have another look.
@ChrisHannah I understand what you mean. I have it and use it for notes and jottings, and a few OmniFocus templates. But it does tick all your requirements. It’s made me think I should try it more seriously myself. Only downside is it keeps files in its own library so editing published files in place wouldn’t work.
@numericcitizen Drafts? it does, in a way, there are actions that would let you ppost to Mb as well with inline images. I had used them in the past several times.
@numericcitizen I wouldn’t say that’s an issue for myself, I use Gluon for Micro.blog as I use this primarily as a social network. But I do rely on my existing automations I’ve built in Shortcuts to publish to my Ghost blog.
@maique I didn’t see the action in question, an oversight of my part. Drafts is too similar in nature to Ulysses… from a bird’s eye view…. which doesn’t warrant a switch.
