Today I deleted Instagram from my iPhone. What am I going to do for my dopamine hit? I suppose it is going to be my Kindle Paperwhite and Kindle app. : ridwan.micro.blog

@Gaby Sometime in the future, yes! My plan is after 30 days, I will be deleting my Instagram & Twitter accounts.

@ridwan instagram was a hard for me to close down, in fact i sort of miss it, i think but so far i have been strong enough to not open another account. Twitter, well, I’ve been having toughts about it recently but haven’t really considerated it – yet.

@ridwan nice! That one will be a hard one for me as there is a couple people that is the only way I communicate with them. That being said I haven’t been using it much this year but tried to post a picture there last night and just felt overly clunky as I was also posting it on Micro.blog since that is my goto these days.

@Gaby I tried to quit Instagram but just couldn’t do it. I guess it is because of FOMO. But, Twitter was easy. I found that it makes me upset very quick and I’m that was enough to quit. My goal is to eventually delete them both.

@ericmwalk Instagram is hard to quit. I use it for consumption rather than posting photos. I think FOMO on consumption was the reason for putting it off.

@Troydp I promised myself to build this habit. Still struggle a bit to read on the phone. I suppose it takes practice.
