Ulysses:

The Ulysses 22 beta is now open 🚀 Want some extra color? How about custom header sizes? All-new panels on macOS? Or maybe easier sheet navigation on iOS? We got all that for you. To help us test, this way, please: t.co/fEcJMDjfC…

I’m a fan of the promo art 😎

@Gaby I got on the beta a couple weeks ago played around with it to post to Micro.blog. And while I love the app since forever, what I miss is to have all my blog posts in one place. I have no way to import my old posts, so I would scatter my stuff in different places again 😕 I can get the text in there, but the metadata would be lost. That’s why I wish for MarsEdit on iOS. I’d have all my stuff in one place there 😊

@hutaffe I’ve been hoping for a MarsEdit for iOS/iPadOS for years. I’d probably bin off my Ulysses subscription if it was to happen.

@Gaby Niiiice. One very cool thing about Ulysses is it’s use of callback identifiers for each sheet that makes it easy to use iOS shortcuts to append snippets to existing sheets via iOS’s share button.

Fer instance if I see a book I might want to look at I tap the share button and select “Add to books to read list” shortcut and it appends the title and url to an existing “bookstoread” sheet. Same for websites I wanna dig deeper into later, share to “checkthisoutlater” sheet as a bullet list.

You can also save text snippets in the same way. I can highlight text on a web page and click share to my quotes sheet and it’ll append to it nicely.

Love the versatility of Ulysses!
