I don’t usually get too excited about betas. The last one I was very excited about was probably the last iteration of Sunlit. The one I am very excited about now it’s Ulysses 😉

@Gaby I installed the beta as well. Haven’t tried it out yet. Was gonna sit down this weekend and see how it works. Not sure if I’ll switch to it over iA Writer after the beta, but I was waiting for this in Ulysses to give it another shot.
@AlanGMarz I sometimes think this. I like Ulysses and am excited to see Micro.blog publishing coming to the app, but I don’t feel as though anything else substantial has come to the app recently. Indeed at times I wonder where the app can go from here? @Gaby
@crossingthethreshold to me this was the missing thing to fully go into this app, I really like the app, I like the UI and the writing environment of it.
@Gaby To be honest, I agree with you. I also like the UI and it’s writing environment. I’ve used it since its early days. I just feel as though the development has slowed in terms of features recently. I’m looking forward to seeing how MB publishing develops and see how I feel then.
@crossingthethreshold fair enough!
@AlanGMarz I wonder the same things. I prefer iA, partly because it feels more “consistent,” since Ulysses is updated (not always in good ways) so frequently. It feels like one of those “if it ain’t broke” situations.
I left Ulysses shortly after they went to a subscription. I am not opposed to subscriptions, per se, but the cost seemed pretty high given the functionality/use cases.
