@jamesshelley If you’re on iOS and/or macOS, I think Reeder 5 would work for you. It would use iCloud for sync, so you’d have no subscription costs.

@jamesshelley funny, today I had posted about me coming back to feedbin. It is a great service and the few times I have quit using in it, for whatever reason, I always come back to it.
@jamesshelley Oh, nothing wrong with Reeder’s iCloud syncing. The problem was me, I just wasn’t reading enough using the app or any other RSS client. Is the fact that most of my reading happens on my computer, and unfortunately, it is a windows computer. If I want to read my feed it has to be thru Feedbin’s website. But if you are absolutely one hundred percent reading on iOS. ipadOS or Mac, then there is no need for Feedbin. To me is more about convenience I guess, also the fact that I can get my newsletters delivered to my feed and read them there, also I can follow YouTube accounts without having to subscribe to them.
@mjdescy Thanks for the mention of Reeder 5! I hadn’t realized that a new version was out. I’ve been continuing to use version 3 because I prefer the verbose way it syncs with my (surprisingly still functioning) instance of Fever over version 4. I’m always happy to give that developer money for the use I’ve gotten from his apps, and this might be a good way to move over and preempt the inevitable Fever meltdown.
