and I’m back: gabz.me

@Gabz One thing I’ve found is I watch way less YouTube when I browse through my RSS feeds. It’s one video at a time and I don’t necessarily watch everything listed.

@Gabz interesting approach for YouTube. That’s the only Google service that I use at the moment as well, but I do log in so I can subscribe and keep track of those channels. Never considered just subscribing to the feeds. May have to give that a shot.

@Gabz I love that Feedbin will: get newsletter, get YouTube Channels, get the few Twitter accounts that have value for me, sync across my devices. I use NetNewsWire on my devices to read the feeds.

@Miraz on newsletters! Do you have to subscribe to them using the generic email address provided by feedbin or you can enter your own in feedbin settings ?

@Gabz I just use the address Feedbin gives me. I like having that anonymity too.

@Gabz This is amazing. Thanks for sharing! Really like Feedbin, but never came to mind to use it for YouTube and newsletter subscriptions.

@roelwillems and I think there’s is a way to somehow create raw feeds from users in instagram that then you could potentially keep following with feedbin. I just haven’t looked to much into it. But I remember sorta reading about it

@Gabz Did look in to it and it seems that you do need a service to build the feed. Will install RRShub tomorrow and give it a try. Just for the fun of it as I don’t (want) to use Instagram.

@roelwillems I want to use it less or not at all, but there are a few accounts that’d like on my feed

@sku_b that’s the idea pretty much

@Miraz I’d forgotten about the newsletter feature. That’s handy!
