For those of you who have been wondering: Yes, itâs snowing.
@jemostrom WHOA! thatâs a lot of snow (for my taste đ)
@AlanGMarz Usually nothing special. Well, I probably have to go out in the evening and âstompâ the snow on the small piece of road up to our car port (this so I can use the âsnow sledâ to shovel the next time it snows). If it had been in September then there would have been some problems in the traffic since most people would have summer tires on and all would drive slower.
@tkoola I have to admit I wonder how central Helsinki looks like in snow (I know how it looks in rain đ)
@jemostrom we had a couple of more winter-y winters but this was the best photo I found Snow in Kallio
@jemostrom HÀrligt. FÄr mig att lÀngta till Sverige. Har en syster som bor utanför Uppsala, men vi har inte trÀffats pÄ en lÀngre tid, pga Corona bland annat.
@tkoola Thatâs the way I imagine it ! Where exactly is that, my first guess would place it close to where the local ferries to Soumenlinna leaves but that seems dangerous. So I assume itâs somewhere else.
@jokef Jo, det Àr ju inte sÄ lÀtt/bra att Äka omkring just nu. Nu ser det i alla fall riktigt trevligt ut ute.
@jemostrom this on ice looking from Kallio/BerghÀll towards Siltasaari not too far away from Railway Station
@tkoola Ahhh, the closest I got to that place (apart from the actual railway station) was the general area around Taivipuutarha. I never crossed the railway as far as I remember ⊠hmm, now I getting unsure, did I visit the Botanical Garden or not? (I spent 10 days walking around in Helsinki in 2018)
