Thinking about large format tonight. Big, unweildy cameras, sheets of film, and a very deliberate working method. I miss it.

Here in Osaka in 2011 in or near Shin Sekai. Lots of weird looks, but ended up talking with a homeless guy who used to be a pro photographer in Nagoya.

@davidrmunson Oh wow! That Saitama picture brings back so many memories. I stayed near the Minami Urawa station on the Musashino Line for a nearly a month a couple of years ago when visiting on work.

@purisubzi No way! This location was about a 10 min walk from my apartment, not far from Musashi Urawa Station. Saitama City doesn’t get enough credit. It’s a good place to be.

@davidrmunson Yes, I loved Saitama! I had to stay closer to Akasaka later on in my stay and while the glitz of Roppongi was for good a few days, I grew weary quickly.
