@gr36 You mean, giving up on writing as in not creating any more content or just less frequently? What I have always loved about Mb, and we have talked about this before, is not feeling the pressure of everything I put out here has to be formal writing. It can be just a "status update" as it was pointed out in some way. Thus, most of what I do here in necessary content creation some might say. That being said, You could use Mb in that regard, you can do your long-format writing as well as little snippets of content here and there but if you feel like something like that doesn't necessarily belong here, then keep GR36.com for those time in which you feel like doing something more elaborate-ish. I do enjoy your Newsletters very much, if you think that alone would scratch that itch of creating content, then just do that.

@gr36 I agree 100% with what @gabz said. I enjoy your work which includes the writing and the newsletter. I came over to micro.blog right around the time we recorded the podcast in January. I was looking for a change in what I do. I found that I can post as little or as much as I want. Small form or long form and it all fits and it all works.

In the end, you need to do what's best for you. But, personally, I would hate to lose the content you create. Even if you have to scale it back some.

@gr36 I don’t think you have to make a firm decision yet. You can decided to just use MB and then see how this decision feels. You could even have a category for “gr36” stuff if you want an easy export option later. Considering your past Ross and Rachel approach to micro blog, I think that might be best. How do you feel about your newsletter BTW? Are you still enjoying it? (I was unclear from your statement here if you are considering dropping it too).

@gr36 I really want to send a "We were on a break" gif...but MB doesn't support it. Maybe that's a good thing. Glad to hear the newsletter is staying!
