@EddieHinkle I donāt understand how this is any different from micro.blog.... I feel like Iām missing something. š¤
@justinhudgins itās understandably confusing. They are similar, not to mention the fact that I read micro.blog posts inside of it which further complicates the issue. This is what is called a āSocial Readerā, the best explanation is probably this blog post by @aaronpk. Since m.b is powered by feeds Iām able to actually engage with m.b through my social reader. M.b and Social Readers are complementary but different things.
@EddieHinkle quick question: using microsub do you follow your m.b feed directly, e.g. [micro.blog/feeds/Edd...](https://micro.blog/feeds/EddieHinkle.xml) or do you follow individual users?
@eli I follow my m.b feed directly right now. Although Iāve considered changing that. There are a couple people that I have wanted to add to a different channel, so those people I have followed their individual feeds and not āfollowedā them on m.b so they donāt appear on the m.b timeline
@eli my pleasure š
@EddieHinkle thanks for the link, Iāll read it! This looks intriguing, Iāve been looking for a āone stop shopā kinda web service recently
