Any Final Cut Pro users here? What advice would you give to someone who knows about Screenflow for recording his YouTube videos but is looking for something more powerful… mostly doing screen recording with my face as a médaillon…

@numericcitizen What do you hope to achieve that cannot be done in ScreenFlow? Final Cut is an editor so you would need to record the video to import for editing. There are a wealth of plugins to enhance FC. ScreenFlow would be the better choice for your stated use.

@Dunk Thanks… I’m planning of getting a rodeCaster Video… which will completely change my recording experience…

@numericcitizen That will be quite a change…not sure it will be of any great benefit for “mostly doing screen recording with my face as a médaillon. “

@Dunk The RODECaster Video will record to individual files (ISO Recording) that will need to be put together again, FCP seems more capable for doing this than Screenflow… I might be wrong.

@numericcitizen Try also Keynote with Live Video. It’s free if you already have a Mac.

@numericcitizen Yes FCP would be the way to go for such a setup but… ScreenFlow is mature software designed for screen recordings for tutorials/demonstrations etc., has many useful features built in and an excellent editor.
