I enjoyed this blog post by @kensanata@tabletop.social with some steps to take when joining a new social network. I’ve been thinking about this topic a lot lately, especially with the looming demise of Google+.
@DrOct (Yes I'm one of those weirdo's that used Google+! It was/is surprisingly big in the tabletop role playing gaming scene, and a group of real life friends who used to share amongst eachtoher in the Google Reader days continued to do the same thing on Google+ for a while, though participation in that arena has dwindled over the years and redesigns).
