I’ve been a real sucker for MMOs since my first, Ultima Online, so it was unwise of me to try the free version of Guild Wars 2 now it’s on Steam. I’ve not played much but I can feel could be a bit of a time sink. And it won’t stay free for long … 😬
@Dino oh no, the worst has happened … I kind of love GW2 already and am eyeing up the DLCs and buying more bag slots etc.
@AndyNicolaides it's a great game. At least you don't have to pay a montly subscription fee to play it. You just buy the DLCs/expansions once. You probably already know, but Heart of Thorns give you the gliding ability, while Path of Fire gives you the full use of the mounts. I actually have not bought the latest expansion yet, but I believe that allows you to do some fishing, while also letting you explore Cantha, which is like an Asian inspired setting.
