My 3-year is absolutely obsessed with board games these days. Anyone have any recommendations for that age group?

@paulson Have you read the Wirecutter recommendations? We continue to enjoy the first board game recommendation for our 2 and 4 year old but there are others too.

@paulson King of Tokyo might be age appropriate, if not, it will be in a year or two.

@paulson my 4-year old son is very much into Protect the Pridelands. I too am looking for more board games for kids.

The first board game I tried playing with him was Legendary: Marvel. It is a co-op game, so even if it was more complicated, we made it work. But he wasn't too excited to play it again.

I'm thinking of trying to play Forbidden Island with him soon. It is a more complex game, but since it is also co-op, it might be doable.

Ooo! I bet he would love Protect the Pridelands. It looks like it’s out a print but there’s a few copies to be found on eBay.

@paulson the only pace we found Protect the Pridelands was on Amazon. And we had to wait like 1 month before it shipped. Hope you can find a copy for your kid.
