@matt I do a planner-journal combination in paper form in a design I made myself. Also just decorative (all the stickers!). Have a script to date it.

@matt

During meetings I use pen and paper, then that goes into my Obsidian vault.

For work mainly, with a few personal trackers.

Not sure I would call it a diary or journal though, more of a running log.

@matt Yeah, on and off for many years but I’ve been doing it consistently on a daily basis for at least two years now. It’s a nice way to log and keep track of things and stuff that happened, but reading it mostly just strengthens my suspicion that I live a terribly boring life

@matt I've used Day One for years. I write on my reMarkable, then convert to text and send it to DayOne. The notebooks I keep as PDFs. That said, DayOne has too many bells and whistles, and of course, owner Automattic seems shakier these days.

@cschack I’ve been eyeing up Day One, but mostly because I’m tempted to try the Journal.app on iOS. I wanted to give the Moleskine journal app a go so I’m not so tied to the Apple ecosystem but it’s not… amazing. 🥲

@ConatusPrinciple I don’t really really know either of those. Will look it up.
