20 years on with no more than a Facebook place holder account (no friends, no followers, no posts), I continue to feel smug and wonder how/why anyone who values privacy would use this site.
@dangoodin I haven't been on there since 2006. Support for Meta and its products is incomprehensible.
@dangoodin I admittedly still have an account but have not posted anything in over half a decade? Or update relationship status... ever. The only reason why it is not deleted is that I would be isolated from family who use Facebook events.
@dangoodin Same. If I must check my Facebook account it is in a Firefox container within the browser. Never the app. I never sign in with Facebook. I disable the use of apps. Etc.
@dangoodin friends don’t really understand when I tell them I don’t use Facebook. Just shared this post with them. I’ll wager most, if any of them, will read it 😢
