I started taking Creatine again. Had a 6 months totally off. Kinda weird, so have to take it slow.

@vincent Why do you take creatine if you don’t mind me asking. I think it’s good for muscle growth but I think I’ve heard some other reasons but can’t remember them. I’ve been curious.
@ChrisJWilson 3mg for muscles — especially great for recovery too. And I exercise a lot. Another 3mg is fantastic for cognitive reasons. I’ve been very zoned out and distant for years and taking extra creatine had a real impact for me. It also helps with sleep and recovery when I haven’t slept much. Some people say 10mg… but I find it’s personally a little too much. You won’t see immediate effects though, this is month long intake — although with sleep recovery it’s pretty quick for some reason. Fixed a lot for me — and exercise too (lifting heavy things).
@vincent Thanks for the info. Earlier this year I actually started working out again and taking some protein and I’m happy with the benefits (being able to play and lift kids without feeling absolutely exhausted is great!) but I thought creatine has some mental benefits too. I just need to find a new gym now I’ve moved.
@ChrisJWilson @vincent I haven’t lifted a thing for many years and now I’m bit anxious to start lifting. For me, I’m overwhelmed with the amount of information out there!
@ridwan @ChrisJWilson start basic. Same exercises. Simple dumbbell curl, body weight stuff. 10 mins every other day. Will go a long way. Want me to draw something up for you and send you something?
@ChrisJWilson I have got Fitbit Premium as part of my Google One subscription. They seem to have a few good workout plans.
