I’m normally very resistant to the iOS beta train, but hearing that iOS 27 tones down the liquid glass design really temps me to try it (as does the statements that MacOS golden gate makes M1 macs seem more performant).
@ChrisJWilson I’ve been running it on my iPad and just too the plunge on my iPhone. Initially seems nice on the iPhone, Liquid Glass refinements are more noticeable than on my iPad.
@philbowell What device? I’m a little worried my 15 pro won’t handle it well. I’ve had bad battery issues in the past (and currently battery life isn’t great as it is!)
@ChrisJWilson a 17 Pro (which I just got thanks to the battery and charge port on my 14 Pro dying). Works well. Phone ran a little hot to begin with but seems to be fine now.
@philbowell I’ve decided that I can’t risk my phone just before flying next week. I might risk it on the iPad…
