@iamJeffPerry Personally I wouldn’t commit to using just one device unless you want to identify what you’d miss. I’d instead just see which device I ended up using and then ask why. If you have both buy choose one over the other, that says something.
@iamJeffPerry Props on your introspective, genuine post. I find no fault with how you're balancing macOS and iOS (and maybe watchOS, too?) in your life. Both devices serve a purpose...and that's where you can lead your readers. I've found that many folks our there don't have the level of expertise as us. Our guidance helps them greatly!
@ChrisJWilson yeah I am just going iPad only for now to see if there is a definitive answer for my problems and to see where things work better in iOS over Mac and vice versa
@iamJeffPerry Another way to look at it is focus on the apps or data that you use. I prefer multiplatform or cloud-based solutions, which then takes "I am a Mac" or "I am PC" or "I am iPad" out of the picture. For example, if you keep most of your writing in plain text files, maybe use markup, you can edit that writing from just about any platform, the real issue then becomes one of where do you store and manage your writing.
