Does anybody read/use Today I Learned?
@simonwoods yes, but also kind of no. I sometimes miss things but also sometimes learn (see what I did) from TiL first. (I’d love a TIL email newsletter...)
@simonwoods Yes, I do. I'm grateful for its existence. Thank you for curating it.
@simonwoods can’t say that I use it every day (hey, I don’t even use micro.blog every day) but yes I use it occasionally

Thank you all for your replies! It feels very good to get so much feedback.
@ChrisJWilson A newsletter would be good, I think. Unfortunately the costs are prohibitive right now but I'm optimistic about the future, as frustrating as that situation can be.
@simonwoods Sorry. I didn’t click through. I used to subscribe to a newsletter with the same name or very close. It had facts about all sorts of things. I got that confused with your blog. I’m blaming old age.
@simonwoods yup. Good way to keep up with microblog. WordPress posts, most useful for me but hosted is interesting to follow.
@simonwoods Yes I do. Yes I do. Sometimes I won't catch the meaning of a feature announcement, but will understand it more reading about it on TIL. This is selective because I gloss over editing themes, editing CSS (which I never liked), photo stuff, emoji stuff, podcast features. None of that is a fault with TIL, since those are of interest to others, but just not stuff I want to do or use.
@johnjohnston Thanks, John. :) Funnily enough, WordPress is one of the things at the top of my to-do list.
@bradenslen Ah! Gotcha. I hesitated on the name because of this but I'm currently ok with how that's worked out.
Thanks for reading any of it, Brad. Hopefully there will soon be enough of a greater variety to catch more of your interest, since I know you have a keen eye for the aspects of web software that are vital, fundamental even.
