@ohBananaJoe what about evernote isn’t satisfying you or what are you looking for in an alternative?

@ohBananaJoe @ChrisJWilson This does not help you at all right now, but if/when Craft ever ports to Android, that is your answer. It's beautiful.* Now, in the meantime, as far as Evernote goes, that crumpled up napkin between the seats of your car is a better alternative for storing notes. 😂

*They do have a web client in beta, but I haven't tried it.

@ohBananaJoe @gpittman have you tried Notion? It seemed like the go to alternative to Evernote for a while. It’s the sort of thing you either love or hate. (I still use Evernote as my paperless reference bucket I.e. invoices, receipts, instruction manuals etc)

@ohBananaJoe cluttered? (I knew there was a good chance you had tried it as it does seem the default new Evernote). I’m not sure if simplenote is still being developed but I know some people who switched from Evernote about five years ago and it is everywhere. I’m afraid I don’t know too many android options though.

@ChrisJWilson @ohBananaJoe I'm a big fan of SimpleNote. However, it is a very stripped down app. Tags are the only organizing option. My note needs are things like quick email templates, shopping lists and the ocassional reminder. No heavy lifitng.

@ohBananaJoe I started using trilium notes last year and didn't have to look further. You do have to self-host it and it does not have an android app. Joplin notes was another app I did explore.
