@gr36 You know, two years ago I was really struggling at work. There was a project that was just not happening. Eventually we got through and I managed to look back and realised that it was my ego that had caused the problems. I then realised that most of my issues at work were caused by ego (mine or someone else's). That's when I decided to pick up Ego Is the Enemy. I think I probably nodded my head along to comments about ego being a problem but that moment changed a heck of a lot for me. I believe it agree's with your comment that you have to realise it for yourself. I will say that I believe a little bit of hypocricy is good; we should set standards for ourselves to aspire to. So "do as I say, not as I do" posts have a purpose. They can be a rallying cry for ourselves. (p.s. I see gr36 is back :D )
